Eudora plugins

I have written (or fixed) a few plugins for Eudora (for Windows) and made them available for download below. I have tested the plugins with Eudora 4.3.x, 5.0.x and 5.1.x (and in addition they should work with 4.0.x, 4.1.x and 4.2.x), but because they are distributed free of charge, there is no warranty provided:

The plugins are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. • Eudora is shipped with a plugin, UprLwr32, that can upper-, down-, toggle-, word- and sentence-case text. As shipped, the plugin only works correctly if the text only contains ASCII characters, despite comments in the code to the contrary (the source code is available as a part of the SDK for Eudora 4.0 or later), due to careless programming. I have fixed it so it now works correctly with the character set CP-1252 (WinLatin-1) and of course also with its subset, ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1).

• This plugin, IS2EN32, is probably only of interest to speakers of Icelandic. It is sometimes necessary to use only ASCII characters when writing a message in Icelandic, if for some reason the recipient can not see the non-ASCII Icelandic characters (e.g., is using a Macintosh that doesn't have the Icelandic localisation installed or is using a 7-bit-only e-mail system). This plugin will allow you to still write the message using the Icelandic characters (so that you don't have to keep a watch out for characters that you can not use) and then transcribe all the non-ASCII Icelandic characters into the appropriate ASCII strings according to this table (lowercase as well as uppercase characters):

  ð	->	d		ú	->	u
  é	->	e		þ	->	th
  í	->	i		æ	->	ae
  ó	->	o		ö	->	oe

  The plugin may perhaps not work as intended if the entire text is in uppercase (e.g., it will turn 'Þ' into 'Th' without checking if the surrounding characters are also in uppercase), but you shouldn't be shouting in your e-mail anyway :-) or you can use the UprLwr32 plugin above to fix it.
